Lo'meath & Huilii was first created in April 2011 as a personal project, something I thought would be fun to do and eventually, fun to share. I'm happy it has a gone on this long, and I've been pleasantly surprised by the positive response so far. Though there's still a lot to be told, I think I'm in it for the long run, or at least until World of Warcraft finally dies (which I don't expect to be for a long, long time).
The basic idea was to tell the story of Romeo & Juliet, one of Shakespeare's many plays I considered, in a World of Warcraft setting in machinima style. The themes and overall setting of the play are similar to that of Shattrath City, and the two factions within it. It's a natural fit for the story, allowing for an easy transition when writing. While I wanted to start off with MacBeth or Hamlet, I decided that R&J had more obvious themes and more natural dialogue. It makes a great starting point, and is a bit easier to interpret.
I use a combination of Photoshop and the WoW Model Viewer to do everything, with backgrounds directly from WoW in highest quality TGA format. For more information, check out the Links pages, or my Making Of videos.
Thank you everyone who has supported me so far, and I hope you will enjoy it to the very end!

I am a 23-year old game designer from Canada who has a particular interest in World of Warcraft, graphic design and webcomics. As such, I've combined my various skills together to create this webcomic, mostly for fun, but also to share what I love with others.
Some of my other interests include literature, history, psychology, phylosophy and science. Branching from that, I'm a big fan of fantasy and science-fiction in general.
Below, you can see my characters. They all have defined personalities and backstories, though I don't roleplay on all of them yet. I just feel a character is more fun to play when they feel like a real person rather than just an avatar.
In my free time, I enjoy raiding, questing and some PvP on my rogue. I'd like to RP more, but have yet to find a group with the style I enjoy. My current guild is Freedom, a casual guild I made just to have a home while I figure stuff out. One day will want to make it into a mercenary RP guild.
